About us

A trained Indian classical & folk dancer, Kavita’s passion for aerobics & fitness stemmed from her love for dance. Her 21 years of abundant working experience in varied organizations & businesses began as a PR Executive with the Diners Club presently Citi Credit Card for about 4 years. A people person & full of life, she is extremely active & passionate about work & personal fitness. She began her wellness journey with Talwalkars Fitness Club, wherein she headed their largest branch in Mumbai. After 5 years with Talwalkars, Kavita brought her desire of setting up a business & her passion for fitness together, by forming Wellness Associates along with Sudhir Patkar. A natural extension of Wellness Associates was the trading of all things fitness & sports which took shape in the form of Acefit Wellness along with Preeti Marwah.

Always having been a sports & fitness enthusiast, aspirations of having his own business drove Sudhir to collaborate with Kavita in this venture of employee wellness, called Wellness Associates. From being a National level cricketer representing Mumbai to working as a fitness trainer with Talwalkars, & then being promoted as the manager of their largest branch, he has given 20 passionate years to his career in the fitness industry. A postgraduate in HR Development & Sports & Fitness Science, Sudhir is a certified yoga teacher trained with the Yoga Institute, Mumbai. Being a sportsman at heart, his sportsmanship is reflected through his passion, dedication, & sincerity toward his work. Apart from sports, fitness, & work, he is an avid reader & spends his free time reading.

A very keen observer & a quick learner, much contradictory to her love for food she landed up in the fitness industry selling the world’s top two brands Life Fitness & Precor for almost a decade. Completed her MBA in sales & marketing & landed up joining Gold’s Fitness chain of gyms before she started selling the equipment brands. Her work converted her into becoming very passionate about sales & the fitness industry as a whole. Her growth mindset led to her becoming a partner in Acefit Wellness while she landed up meeting Kavita & Sudhir as clients, this was made possible due to their common goals of setting up & growing the business in the trading field. Apart from managing & growing the business, she also enjoys meeting interesting people & exploring new places.
